Son protecteur est le Saint Gothard. L&rsquo;\u00e9glise, fortement influenc\u00e9e par l&rsquo;Italie, se caract\u00e9rise par ses proportions tr\u00e8s rectangulaires.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9glise actuelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite en 1725. Cependant, elle contient une partie gothique (des sacrements) dans le mur \u00e0 droite du ma\u00eetre-autel et le chandelier de 1568 indiquent que l&rsquo;\u00e9glise a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite plus t\u00f4t. En effet, la paroisse a \u00e9t\u00e9 mentionn\u00e9e pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans un document datant de 1267.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Emplacement et arriv\u00e9e<\/h2>\n<p>Le village du Simplon est facilement accessible en carpostal ou en voiture priv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Plusieurs places de parc sont disponibles dans le village du Simplon.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-width: 260px; max-width:
